There are five major butt shapes. These butt shapes help in finding the perfect panty for you!
Square shape
A square shape butt is formed when the hip bone and the thigh bone are in a straight line. Meaning your hips look more straight than curved, whereas the top of your butt is fuller. The ideal panty style for you would be boy shorts and bikinis. Boy shorts will give you complete coverage while complementing your curves while bikini would give you the perfect thigh high look with a semi hip coverage.
Round shape
Often said to be the ideal butt shape, round butts have proportionately distributed fat which makes them look fuller. Giving them the bubble butt effect. Because these butts are fuller they need more coverage for a comfortable fit. Briefs and hip huggers are the most compatible panty styles for this butt type. Briefs give complete coverage to the front, sides, back and crotch while hip huggers give complete coverage to the crotch and butt.
V-shape
V-shape or an inverted shape has more fat on the top and flattens at the bottom. It is similar to square shape but the hips also flatten as you move from the waist to the thigh. The butt needs more coverage at the bottom which gives it a lift. Thus hipster and boy shorts are the perfect fit. Boy shorts give complete hip coverage while Hipster gives partial side coverage with complete butt coverage.
A-shape
The A shape butt type is narrow from the waist and wider at the hip bone. It gets its shape mainly from the thickness of thighs. Panties with a high leg would be a good choice, they’ll give the leg good movement while also giving the hips coverage. Bikini or any high leg panties would be ideal for this butt type. Cheekies would also give an uplift to this butt type.
Inverted Heart
Inverted heart shape is fuller at the bottom and near the bottom hip. It gets its name from the heart shape. The narrow waist and fuller bottom gives the illusion of an inverted heart. Hipster and hip huggers will give the best hip coverage. Any panty type which is low rise and has a smaller leg hole would be a comfortable fit.
